March 12, 2005 – Girl Bullying Presentation to 25 Adults
September 2005 – HGNA is established as a 501(c)3 organization!
March 18, 2006 – Chick Chat is introduced, 60 girls attend
October 16, 2006 – Roni Cohen-Sandler, author of “Stressed Out Girls” speaks to 100 parents at Downers Grove North High School
March 21, 2007 – Rosalind Wiseman, author of “Queen Bees and Wannabes” speaks to 200 parents in Lombard; HGNA is a co-sponsor
April 14, 2007 – Chick Chat returns for its second year, 150 girls attend
2007/2008 – Girls Circle, weekly discussion groups, are introduced
March 8, 2008 – Chick Chat returns for year three, 175 girls attend
March 8, 2008 – Mom Chat is introduced, 35 moms attend
2007/2008 – Cyberbullying Workshops for Parents introduced
March 7, 2009 – Chick Chat is back for the fourth year and reaches 153 girls
March 8, 2009 – Mom Chat in its second year and reaches 50 moms
March 21, 2009 – HGNA co-sponsors Snowflake, a full-day event for 100+ 7th grade boys and girls
November 17, 2009 – Parent/Daughter Workshops introduced to 50 girls and parents
Winter/Spring 2010 – Yoga Club is introduced and reaches 50 girls
March 13, 2010 – Chick Chat turns five and reaches 185 girls
March 13, 2010 – Nearly 80 moms attend Mom Chat
2008/2010 – HGNA programs for Girl Scout Troops reach over 250 girls
