2008 Pancake Breakfast Raises $5,000 for HGNA Programs
 The third annual HGNA Pancake Breakfast was a smashing success, raising more than $5,000 for programs for girls and their caregivers.
The All-You-Can-Eat breakfast featuring pancakes, sausages, Dunkin Munchkins, juice, milk and coffee was held from 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday, October 25 at Ballydoyle Irish Pub and Restaurant, Downers Grove. As always, the event was held in conjunction with the Rotary Club’s Halloween window-painting event in downtown Downers Grove.
Celebrity servers at the breakfast included Downers Grove Village commissioners Martin Tully, Sean Durkin and Geoff Neustadt and village manager Dave Fieldman, District 58 school board president Joe Leo and DuPage County Board member Kyle Gilgis.
